Ever since my first trip to Bali, I couldn’t get enough! This is now my fourth time visiting Bali and second time staying at InterContinental Bali Resort. It feels like our second home!
The traditional Balinese music plays in the background while the welcome drink with lemongrass stirrer is served. Balinese warmth and hospitality is unlike anywhere in the world. Our time at InterContinental Bali Resort is always filled with wonderful memories.
We first stayed at the InterContinental Resort Bali in 2014, 2 years ago. The resort is very large and the expanse of the sprawling grounds is filled with traditional Balinese gardens, pools, statues and other amenities. There is something for everyone, from couples to families.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
Jimbaran is home to one of the best beaches in Bali. The sand is white, the beach is long and there are no (well not many!) hawkers bustling around. Jimbaran was once a fishing village and has evolved into a destination renowned for luxury hotels such as the InterContinental Bali Resort. One of my favourite things about this resort is that the beach is literally right at the front door step!
Perhaps the best thing of all is that it is only a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport. If you have disembarked from a long flight, this resort is perfect for you to relax and unwind!

STROLL ALONG THE BEACH
Locals and tourist stroll along the beach while Balinese kids kick balls around on the sand. It is the perfect spot to watch the sunset. Hang around long enough to watch all the beautiful sunset colours in the sky!

The resort accommodates a wide range of tastes and preferences. There are several breakfast venues to enjoy your breakfast. Extensive buffet breakfast is served including International and Asian selections, a meat carvery, egg station, fresh fruits and juice bar. When your biggest decision in the morning is what to eat, you know you are on holidays!
The Spa is the perfect place to de-stress and rejuvenate and escape the demands of a fast-paced modern lifestyle. We enjoyed a relaxing massage at Spa Uluwatu.
You can also opts for a natural al fresco experience (pictured below), open-air spa pavilions are dotted beside the beach.
TAKE A DIP
With six swimming pools spread throughout the grounds, why not try them all? Once you pick one, you will not want to move. The pool lounges are so comfortable with full pool side service.

Following our relaxing day by the pool, we headed to the Club InterContinental Lounge for a traditional selection of freshly-made sweet and savory treats served on a three-tiered cake stand, paired with our favourite selection of teas and coffees. The room is filled with melodies on the grand piano by a pianist.
Served daily, 2:00pm – 4:00pm
To take you from afternoon to night, enjoy cocktail hour at the Club InterContinental Lounge where cocktails, sparkling wines and wines are served along with a selection range of snacks and canapes.
Served daily, 4:30pm – 7:30pm
InterContinental Bali Resort presents mouth-watering selections across different venues. From al fresco romantic settings to chic indoor fine dining to exotic seafood barbecue, there is no shortage of choices! We had dinner at Jimbaran Gardens and feasted on fresh seafood and fish.
