We loved spending our mini-moon in Bali between two of our favourite resorts, Rimba (see my Rimba post) and Ayana. As a guest staying at Rimba, we were able to also use Ayana Resort’s facilities. The best part is there is a shuttle bus every few minutes to take the guests from one resort to another.
Ayana Resort houses some of my favourite places to lounge during the day. One of them being the famous and must-go, Rock Bar. This bar takes the concept of ‘on the rocks’ to a whole new level. It is an open bar perched on the cliff-top with the most amazing view of the ocean. Did I mention that it is the perfect place to watch the magical Bali sunset?!
Next to the Rock Bar is the Ocean Pool which is an infinity pool looking out into the ocean (hence the name)! Be sure to get there early as there are limited number of cabanas! Once you get a cabana you won’t want to leave for the whole day!
My favourite pool in the whole entire resort is the River Pool (featured in the last photo). It is quieter than the Ocean Pool. One of the reasons is that it is hidden away amongst the Villas. I have been to Ayana Resort twice before this visit and I never knew it’s existence! This time round, Hubby and I spent 3 days of our stay lounging at this pool, it was tranquil and beautiful. We will definitely be back next time!
