Zimmermann Dress / Alexander Wang Clutch
We had the privilege of attending the destination wedding of one of our closest friends. Their wedding was our main reason for a trip to Bali.
The week leading up to the wedding consisted of lots of pool time, good food and wonderful company. It was pretty safe to say everyone was relaxed and refreshed by the time the wedding came around.
The wedding ceremony and reception were both held at the luxurious Khayangan Estate in Uluwatu. Khayangan comes from an old word for “Seventh Heaven” and the estate definitely does it’s name justice.
The ceremony took place on a beautiful cliff side with a magnificent view of the Indian Ocean.
When the Bride walked down the isle, it was truly a sight to behold, the Groom and all the family and friends waited and watched in an appreciative silence. The Bride and Groom gave wonderful personalized speeches which bought quite a few to tears in the crowd.
As the sun set over the horizon we moved onto the reception which was conveniently set up next to the ceremony in one of the gardens. Long tables decorated with stunning flowers were set up underneath hanging lights giving the whole place a romantic and magical feel. This was the perfect setting to begin a night filled with good food, laughter, dancing and merriment!
Hi from Bali 🙂
I just found your Blog via Instagram and passed by this awesome article!
Your dress looks great and the whole wedding decor as well!!!
We will marry next year and I really need this kind of inspiration.
So if you’ll be in Bali soon again, let’s have a fashion-travel-blogger meeting here 😀

Julia
