For those with exquisite taste, luxury is not easily defined.
Luxury can be a simple pleasure to uncommon indulgences. Luxury is personal and unique. We all have our own ideas of what luxury means to us and what makes our travels even more special.
Here is a sample of my very own Lux List for Park Hyatt Melbourne‘s #MyLuxList event:
– Simple comforts such as sleep in’s with breakfast in bed; and
– a more extravagant indulgence, spending my one year anniversary with my husband relaxing in Maldives or luxury African Safari!
What’s on your Lux List?
CHECK-IN
As part of the #MyLuxList event, Park Hyatt Melbourne really provided first hand personalised service and a range of luxurious amenities. I was excited to find out what my stay would be like at the #2 hotel in Australia/New Zealand by Conde Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards.
I was greeted by warm and welcoming staff at reception. It was a quick check in process and I was shown to my room. I walked into my spacious suite with walk in wardrobe, Italian marble bathrooms and open windows. The first thing I did was relax and unwind in the bath tub!
Hair and makeup was organised for all the guests at the Styling Suite. We were also dressed in precious pearls from Paspaley Pearls. At this point, I felt beyond spoilt! I wore the beautiful Lavalier necklace with Australian opals and a rare Keshi with matching Lavalier earrings.
#MYLUXLIST DINNER
After getting dressed, I made my way downstairs for an intimate dinner curated by Executive Chef Dane Clouston served in the luxurious surrounds of Park Hyatt Melbourne. The menu included crayfish risotto to chicken waffles with truffle and pearl from Western Australia just to name a few. For dessert, we were served with a mouth watering selection of sweet and savoury includng chocolate pithivier, blackberries liquorice pannacotta, pistachio cherry boome alaska and racelette jaffe!
BREAKFAST IN BED
At the beginning of this post, I shared with you #MyLuxList. Now, little did I know that a few of the items were picked by the Park Hyatt Melbourne team and turned into a reality during my stay. I was told that I had a late check out which meant I could enjoy a sleep in. Then waking up to ordering breakfast in bed. To take personalised luxury to another level, they even made monogrammed slippers for me! It’s all these little and extra thoughtful things that made my stay very special.
The Park Hyatt team are really taking their guest experience to the next level and next visit I might never want to leave!
