Marcs Shirt / Zara Shorts and Sandals / Alexander Wang Bag / Celine Sunglasses
I made the most of the beautiful weather we had in Melbourne on Sunday. I started my morning with a lap around the Tan. I have been hibernating inside this Winter so all my exercises have been within the gym. It feels great to finally go for a run outside with the sun beaming down. Later on in the day, I decided to take a walk along the beach and managed to take a few snaps too. There was so many people out and about…felt almost like Summer! I can’t wait for those long Summer days!
What a fab outfit! Can you please tell me what you did to alter the Zara sandals? Do you have a before/after shot? Thanks!
Thanks Beth! The Zara sandals use to have 3 straps. I cut out the middle strap. On the weekend I was looking around in Zara and saw that they were selling these sandals at the Bourke St store. They also had a different colour combination: black and silver.
Here’s the link to a photo before alterations:

Hi Mel! Amazing outfit as always! I love the chambray top – I’ve been wanting to get a shirt that colour! I’m planning on getting the J Brand one that you linked, however concerned that the colour may be different in real life 🙁
Anyway, the quality of your photos are gorgeous! Do you edit the photos at all? Or is it just a good lens?

Hi Jenny, thanks for your lovely comments! The chambray shirt is so versatile and I have been wearing it so much since I bought mine!
I found some more pictures of the J Brand Daria Chambray shirt See link below:

Comparing the photos from Shopbop and Revolve Clothing, I think the colour of the shirt looks about the same so unless both have odd lighting then I would say the photos are a true representation of the actual colour. It’s a beautiful blue! If you are worried, you can always email Shopbop to confirm whether the colour is true to picture before buying.
I edit my photos with Lightroom. Usually cropping or adjusting the lighting if it is too dark. I generally don’t do too much with my photos.

Hai Mel,
Amazing outfit as usual. The picture is amazing too, may I know if you are using Lumix GF2 to took it?
Hi Sherly, thanks for your sweet comments! Good memory! I was using the Lumix GF2 but I have since changed to the Canon 50D. The lens I used is the 24-70mm f2.8. Mel xx
