Something Else Dress / Forever New Belt / Alexander Wang Clutch / Tony Bianco Sandals
For date night, I wore this Something Else Floral Mirage Tank Dress. What initially drew me to this dress is the beautiful cut-outs on the décolletage and the all over unique digital floral print. This dress is ultra-light weight which is perfect for warm days and nights. To give this shift dress more shape, I decided to add a belt which I felt looked more flattering and made the dress slightly shorter on me.
For our date night, my boy took me to Giuseppe Arnaldo & Sons (GAS) in Crown. It was 20 minutes wait for a table so we decide to have a drink at the bar while waiting. We got a bar table right at the entrance of the restaurant – perfect location for people watching. For those who know the layout of GAS, you’ll know that the reception to the restaurant is all the way past the bar area and towards the back of the venue. Once seated, there began an amusing evening of watching many first timers to the restaurant walk up to our area of the bar looking quite puzzled as to why their ‘restaurant receptionists’ (i.e. us) were just sitting there laughing and having a few drinks and nibbles! I can’t tell you how many people came up to us and actually ask whether there was any tables available!
