Sofitel launched the 2016 “Sofitel Wine Days” to celebrate French wine and L’art de vivre (the art of living!). Sofitel Melbourne On Collins partnered with Veuve Clicquot to bring an unforgettable dining experience. I was very excited to immerse myself in the history of Champagne and the tastes of Veuve Clicquot at No35 Restaurant in Sofitel Melbourne On Collins.


The decadent 4-Course Dinner at No. 35 Restaurant was to die for. We journeyed through Veuve’s history sampling a 4 course menu matched to champagne ranging from the 2004 Vintage Brut to the newly released Rich.

Verve Clicquot is renown for it’s impeccably delicious champagne and we were privy to discover the history of the Maison and its wine producing processes from fine wine specialist, Dean O’Reilly.

The beautiful view from the 35th floor and the elegant decor of No35 Restaurant brought the experience to a whole new level. I’d highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic dinner to celebrate with your partner or even a group dinner for champagne and food lovers!
